This has to be one of my favourite museums ever. It is a well designed, modern space and the exhibits are wonderful to look at. Most of the written stuff is in Japanese but they offer a free English audio guide for a refundable deposit...More

I visited this place simply because I happened to be near by, but I’m glad I did. It is inexpensive to enter and offers a very in-depth and interesting history of the instant ramen industry. The option to make your own cupnoodle was fun. There...More

A short tour in this museum lets you learn about the history of instant noodles and how it came to be. I found the video screening on the life story of Momofuku Ando, the inventor of instant noodles, to be the most interesting part of...More

We never knew about the history of the cup noodles and were amazed at the historical background to the cup noodle. Worth a visit, and you can learn how to make noodles too!

Something a bit different, great for young kids (our kids are 9 and 5). Very busy though, but it is school holidays for many. Although it is busy, you can turn up on the day and get tickets for the attractions but it might not...More

Make your own cup noodle! Very original experience. A perfect half-day activity for kids under 12. Not recommended for older children who would find it too simple. Must reserve in advance. Better if you can speak Japanese.

We stopped into the Yokohama Cup Noodles Museum because it was near the World Porters and Cosmo World. We were initially excited, hoping to see how the noodles were made, or even packaged. Instead, it was really just a very quick walk through of a...More

A place to know the origin of cup noodles. Many took up DO-it-yourself cup noodles at 300 yen. If you have small children, there is a big playground for them upstairs which need separate payment.
