This is a huge shopping center underneath the Fukuoka streets, with a variety of stores. The shopping center ceiling is about 12 feet high only as it is dug under the streets, though you do not feel confined or claustrophobic while shopping. It is quite an experience to shop there.

Tenjin underground connects most of the Malls above ground and also the shops in the tunnel. It's a long stretch and one can really spend a good day just exploring the underground and the shops above. This is way much bigger than the ones at Hakata. Great for people who enjoys shopping.

There are just so many shops and places to eat in Tenjin Underground City. Most of the major departmental stores have a basement where supermarkets and eateries are located. Excellent place to buy Japanese snacks! The variety and colors of produce, meats, fruits are amazing. There are so many people too!

So many places to shop. It leads to the subway but many stores nearby. If you are a shopper, you need to go here, too.

The roof and architecture is interesting but it's not worth a trip across town . We did a spot of shopping here and got coffee , there literally nothing else I can say about this place

theres so many things underground. we got lost again and again. but if you're looking to find some food/shops.. there're plenty of options. if you are looking to navigate to somewhere, you're better off going on ground level. :)

Linking two subway stations the Tenjin Underground City with a myriad of shops, clever whistful architecture, one cross over looks like an Italian street, and plenty of links to the outside world really works well We spent a few, dry as it was pouring outside, happy hours wandering and visiting the exquisite food halls of Mitsukoshi and Diamaru Department stores.

Really huge place to wander around. Lots of shops as typical of many large departmental stalls. Lots of Japanese type restaurants for your meals. A good place to while time away especially if the weather is too cold outside.recommended for shopaholics.

Was walking from the subway back to hotel using the Tenjin Underground City passage ways almost everyday when I was there for a weekend gateaway. Me and my friends were shopping there on a rainy day, recommended.
