The park is in downtown. You can go to Hilton for lunch or afternoon tea after visiting the park. The park mimics West lake in China but it's smaller with fewer ppl. I quite like it as its a nice walk around the lake. But the best part is the Japanese garden in the park. It's so pretty and so... More

The park can be accessed by the subway bearing the same name. As the name implies, it is one huge park with water feature and looks more like a semi vegetated garden area. Mobile food vendors are available at some entrances. Toilet facilities are also there. There is a stadium and some administrative buildings. As the area is of reasonable... More

This was a great walking experience. The many parts of the park was explained to us by a wonderful guide , Seigo. The cherry blosson trees were at their best. A mid week visit meant that the paths weren't over-run.The river, the gardens and the ruins of the ancient castle , the wedding groups taking photos and the lake have left us... More

They have paddle boats shaped as swans!! Need I say more. I visited in spring so it was in full bloom and beautiful! As I mentioned they have paddle boats and kayaks for rent. It is a lovely trail to walk around. There are parks and scenic ruins along the parks exterior. It is a lovely way to spend an... More

The park is basically a very large pond with nice jogging/ walking trail and a very nice Starbucks. For visitors, it is very average. And really only worth the time if you want to clock some exercise steps.

We visited in April when the cherry blossoms were out and on this Sunday there was a family day on. Many families had bought mats and were sitting having a picnic lunch under the cherry blossom trees. There were also stalls selling a variety of foods. The Kanazawa castle is adjacent but it is a ruin and little of the... More

I highly recommend this place. It's calming and the swan boats are something to experience. There's also a great picnic area too.

What a park! It's beautiful to walk on a sunny day. We did both, sunny and rainy/windy day. Sunny was better. Windy/rainy almost blew us away.

A big park that's great for relaxing and enjoying the lake view. The nearby cafes offer a good chilling time as well. The walk through the bridge reminds me of the walk through Arashiyama. May have to be careful of the small flies and pollen that's floating in the air though.
