Well oddly enough being buried in hot sand was on my bucket list. I was not disappointed. It was so soothing for aching bones. The town itself proclaims itself as an international resort but clearly has some sort of collective delusion. It looks as if...More

Sunamushi means you enjoy Onsen in the sands. Sands are warm, and you can enjoy the warm Onsen in the sand. After the sand Onsen, please visit water Onsen as well It has a nice view of Kaimon-dake.

My wife had looked forward to this for sometime, and we were not disappointed! The Japanese man who buried us in sand, was really funny and helpful. Beside being an older establishment, I have no complaints. Great memories and well worth the visit.

Sandbathing. The onsen and getting to know the locals in the sauna! Whilst sweating it out in the sauna, watched the TV, which wierdly showed my hometown in Lincolnshire preparing for the elections!
