They have some rides for small children in the center of the zoo. Shrine for animals. Conditions for some of the animals not so great. Cages do not make good photo opportunities.

Kumamoto Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a wonderful place for tourists to get touch woth the nature, apart from the plants and flowers, there are also animals, both childs and adults like this place

Get off the tram at the zoo stop no 24.Walk straight across the road heading west.You should see a path with zoo animals on the side of the path.Head down the path following the pictures.After 5-10 minutes you should see the carpark straight ahead.500 yen...More
