We had one day in Ishigaki and this is one of the stops recommended to check out. Beautiful scenery -- I highly recommend checking it out -- another one I would revisit.

My favourite view point on an island filled with lots of fantastic. Lots of other tourists about around sunset, which is when we visited,. All the usual conveniences (parking, toilets and vending machines) but I suspect less mobile visitors will struggle a bit.

We enjoyed our amble up to the lighthouse, hardly any traffic at all. At the top there are 2 parking areas, if there are cars in the first parking section on to the left just park there it prob means the top one is full as we found out, but its only a short walk. The views are fantastic, have... More

The drive up provided many nice views of the coast line and the final view did not disappoint in the least. (If you are a Geocacher, the cache located here is a nice bonus.)

Absolutely a beautiful place for watching sunset. Small place on a hill. Bit crowdy but definitely ok. Not beach! Nice lighthouse. There were some insects/muscitos. Bathroom and vending machine available.

Tho we drove nearly an hour to there, it does worth! There's also an ice-cream van selling ice-cream even it's soooooooo far. I recommend after going the cape, you should definitely go 明石食堂 for lunch. You just can't miss that.

Although there is nothing at the lighthouse itself but the drive is very nice and on the way it is possible to stop in different view points and take some walks to beach or mangrove areas. Lovely quiet scenery.

You need to rent a car to visit this beautiful place but totally worth it. Walking up the slope you start seeing emerald ocean with green mountain on your right, then the white light house captured your eyes. You can also walk to the top (5-10min) to the top of the small rock hill to enjoy 360 view with sea... More
