The landscape is gorgeous and super fascinating. I highly recommend to visit! We had a very nice guide who was a local. A visit here will also benefit the local community and they offer you the opportunity to donate books or other necesites to the community.

We have feel exactly like in Hell because the temperature there was very high. We took an hour-long tour of the valley and on the shore. After that we waited for sunset. This time colors will be especially bright and distinguishable. Colors of the valley changed every minut during sunset time. It is so beautiful.

If you happen to be in the area, Hells Kitchen is worth a stop but it wouldn't be the highlight of any trip to the coast. Basically, it's a highly-eroded piece of land that one can hike down into but there's little wildlife unless you count the people hounding you to buy their knick-knacks.

Very nice place for visit. The road to get to this place is horrible, but you can make it. It is similar to Grand Canyon in USA, but much smaller. Romantic during sun set. We liked that and would visit it again :-)

Go early as the temperature soars later in the day. It is well worth a visit. Make sure you take water to drink also.

Marafa-Hells Kitchen is a uniquely different landscape set just inland from the Kenyan Coast. Best visited at sunset which highlights the different colours of the limestone cliffs eroded over thousands of years. Access is best by private hire vehicle as travelling by local Matutus requires knowledge of where to go.
