I visit Watamu all throughout the year and love every time I get the opportunity to chill out here! The beach is really pretty and feeds into Meda Creek which is another fantastic spot. The Marine Park ensures the waters are kept clean and free of annoying JetSki's etcetc Water sports enthusiasts will really appreciate this place, fishing is great... More

The hotel is just a burned shell and the beach looks neglected - so go round the corner to Turtle Bay and you will see it in its original beautiful state. After the fire my partner... More

We visited Watamu Beach hotel in November 2005, the resort is owned by African Safari Club. The hotel was lovely, the location is ideal and the village of Watamu is safe and friendly. The food at the hotel is not great, repetative but adequate for breakfast and lunch but dinner was not that good. We ate in the village almost... More
