A must go to place.

This was my second visit to the site, and this brought back lovely memories from 28 years ago. Great feeling of satisfaction and contentment walking around this wonderful place.

The monetary is centered in the mountains of Anaya where St. Charbel lived most of his adult life. It offers a glimmer at the coffin of the Saint and relics of the healed people's walking sticks and handicap tools. Visitors can find a wide selection of gifts and souvenirs from the gift shop. I recommend driving up just before sundown... More

Going here gives a humbling experience, even to non Christians. There is a chapel where you can pray without a priest, and then once finished you go around the monastery discovering Saint Charbel's life and miracles.

St Charbel is the Saint of the century. He's curing people from their diseases no matter of their religion. He's one of the strongest saint in the catholic church just like saint Francis. I recommend all foreign tourists to visit Saint Charbel & pray they will feel different.

To come that close to where a saint "the saint" has lived and died is so captivating and mesmerizing. The little chapel is a place where you can spend hours with your prayers and thoughts. I wish I could go back with my family.
