You will always enjoy your day skiing at Mzaar ski resort ! However the queue at the baby slopes is huge ! So if you are a beginner you might want to get there as early as possible !

I grew up in Northern California and have been skiing since I was 5, but would say I'm an intermediate skier. I've never skied in a place where there was no wait for the lifts and where I had entire trails to myself - it was an incredible great. I would recommend going on a weekday because the lift ticket... We had a terrible accident with the malfunctioning tele-siege and the non professional behavior of the staff - no safety measures - and lack of professionalism

this is a small resort, with a number of lift and slopes, enough to ski for the day, great for novices. Only one hour from the airport so worth the trip. Weather can change. Very friendly locals. Ski school and equipment hire. Hotel and chalets for rent close by. Great fresh press fruit juices as you near the resort ,... More

Had a nice 2 days in Mzaar and recommend it for good ski weekend. I used to live in CO at a major ski resort, so had low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. Easy to rent skis as well as clothing if needed. Resort is much bigger than I expected--some nice groomed slopes and huge open bowls, beautiful scenery. Day... More

Great place to ski very quiet at the top and the lifts do there jobs. People are super friendly and would recommend this.

Yes - this is the 'best ski-resort in the Middle East' - but that is not such a high bar ... and certainly not 'World-Class' ... Positives: Easy access - 90-min from Beirut airport (if you avoid rush-hour as you have to cross Beirut). Generally lots of good natural-snow and lots of sun. Good for beginners and intermediates. Maximum 500m... More

The mountain itself is spectacular with excellent quality snow. However, it was very clear to us that the facility lacked funding. The lift chairs were very old and frankly made us nervous. The snow wasn't well groomed and the maps that we were given weren't very accurate. If you haven't been here before, I highly recommend booking a lesson with... More
