Having just returned from Langkawi - we did this walk up to the waterfall, which needed some effort but not too much and was worth the walk. So if you are in the area (near the cable car/skywalk and oriental village) we recommend doing the...More

There are 2 parts to the hike from Seven Wells to Machinchang Peak (701m) The first part is quite easy jungle walking until you reach about 30 meters from the first "peak". The jungle is beautiful! This last 30 m requires climbing almost 50 degrees...More

Came across this by chance as we were intending to go see the seven wells but on the way up some people said there were still 400 steps to go so we took a detour as it was getting close to sunset. Glad we did...More

I've visited a fair few waterfalls in south east Asia and it was so refreshing to find one that you didn't have to pay entry for! Just turn up and enjoy the natural beauty. The 7 wells is a 10 minute walk from the sky...More

This is am amazing destination to visit. Basically, the location is divided in two stages: 1) waterfall with a great smooth rock, 2) pools of water on the top of it. Visiting Telaga Tujuh, I highly recommend doing both parts. Of course, there's quite a...More

You have to climb up some stairs (I think around 600 - 700) to arrive there but it's worth the effort. I really enjoyed to take a bath in the clear water of the waterfall. Don't miss it if you are close to the Oriental...More

Wish I had taken a change of clothes so I could have had a plunge in the water. It was a nice uphill walk, be prepared, can get hot in the middle of the day but it is nice. The view was great and the...More

A 15-20 minute walk up to the top depending on fitness. Nice views, and the waterfall itself is truly stunning

Honestly I didn't see any kids while we were there. It's a lot of steps and a lot of walking so they may get tired and you may end up carrying them - just something to consider. I'd also recommend insect repellant and lots... More
How far trekking is involved to get to reach to the top of the waterfall?

couple of hundred stairs until the top of the waterfalls. I'd say a good half an hour with a few photo stops incl.
