Great local market for foreign visitors to mingle with the locals. Plenty of fresh fruit, clothes toys etc. For us it was the local food. So much to choose from and so cheap. Definitely try some, you'll be surprised how good most of it is.

A must if you visit langkawi! We hired a car so took longer to find. But the food is delicious! Satay and chicken marinated on a stick is great! There's so many exotic food and fruits plus gadgets! Dirt cheap!

So many stalls and so much food! Curry puffs, spring rolls, satay and heaps more. We sampled most of the finger foods and strolled through the markets before getting some Rendang curry and rice to eat at home - so good!

A rather classical version of the Malaysian night market. But this one is quite cheap maybe that’s why some of the restaurants in the town are closed on Wednesday?

Great for bargain hunters, these markets offer an extensive array of inexpensive clothes, fresh produce, trinkets, watches, sunglasses, wallets and handbags, paintings and souvenirs

The range of local food is amazing. The quality, price and friendly vendors make this a must visit. Once you sample the food you will come back again and again. A hat is advisable as it can get very hot until the sun goes down

The night market is a "must do" attraction! Although I'd suggest to get there early to avoid all the generators when it gets dark! The food is amazing and so very cheap, I spent RM6 and was so full I couldn't even fit in another...More

We were in Pantai Chenang and went to the night market there, wouldn't bother it was generally the same stuff as any shop along the street and believe most stalls would have been run by those shops. You can get as good a... More
