Recommend this as must visit for connoisseurs of art. Place appears a bit run down but they have innovative work on display all handmade and mostly related to batik. So if you interested in picking up a souvenir give away's while you visit Langkawi, this...More

Here you can get authentic Batik souvenirs(dresses, handkerchief, table cloth, shirt, skirts, pants, paintings and many more). Prices depends on the size and the difficulty of creating the Batik itself. For those who want to try Batik Painting, they have some pre drawn batik designs,...More

We were taken to the Atma Alam Batik Village to see how batik silk screening is done. Several members of our group tried their hand at batiking. However, the real attraction of the village is the large, beautiful store where batik items are sold. Scarfs,...More

We went there with much excitement in order to learn about Batik. The staff was least interested. They took less than 3 minutes to show how baitk is done and then took us to shop. No one really bothered to attend us. We just bought...More

Would highly recommend a visit! Absolutely beautiful wall hangings, cloths, fabrics all displayed beautifully. Genuine batik clothes and fabrics at good prices. Very friendly and knowledgable staff . Only a short drive from Pantai Cenang near the airport . We used Grab - very cheap.

Main highlight of my one day tour. Was really enjoying painting my own batik (RM $30). Various designs to choose from. As this was the last place I visited before the end of the tour, I did not have much time shopping for the batik...More

An amazing place, calm and peaceful. Watching the hand drawn designs being created on the fabric stretched out on frames. Then having a go yourself, nothing to top it.
