Overview
More
You'll never forget the day you helped give an elephant a bath (additional request with the help of a guide). Currently elephant riding has been temporary stopped until further notice. Get up close and personal with the amazing semi-wild elephants at Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. Be sure to book in advance because the center has strict daily visitor quotas.

This has been the best sanctuary I’ve seen elephants so far. It’s very obvious that the elephants are well cared for and they are considered above pleasing tourists. You get a chance to feed the elephants at the end so don’t feel like you have...More

Thus is an amazing experience. I was sceptical about the adventure at first fearing the muddy water, but it was great I would do it again, and again

I feel so sad for the elephants. After the people destroyed the elephants home for building palm oil plantations, they pretend to "save" them by taking them appart from their familys, giving them drung and shipping them. You could tell that they still give them...More

Keep on trying. Strange but a fact that Kuala Gandah's popularity ranking has dropped from No 5 to No 10 in TripAdvisor. There are strange visitors arriving to the sanctuary with strange opinions too.
