Don't go walking through the raw forest- the moss is being destroyed by tourist traffic. Rather do the walk on the raised platform, which is just as good. Be a responsible tourist!

Although they say it's closed still we could visit it with our taxi driver/guide. Took a short walk in the forest for half an hour. Was a wonderful experience for us; as we are not used to forests.

Mossy Forest is at the top of Gunung Brinchang, end of Trail #1 which is mostly under cloud cover, hence the growth of dense moss in this ancient forest, very earthy and beautiful. Gunung means mountain. Trail # 1 can be hiked through the forest....More

We drove to Mossy Forest, it was cool there. My children (8yo & 5yo) enjoy it but not my parents. We went in the evening and was not crowded.

Just go there, stop, use all your senses and take a deep breathe. Totally unforgetable, this is for me "must see" if you really like a nature and you respect it. If you have any rubbish, please do not leave it there as many others...More

Not really a path through the forest, more of a raised boardwalk that offers a 15-minute breeze through the canopy.

We went to the mossy forest on a half day planned tour in January 2017. Annoyingly the road on the way up was being re-surfaced so we had to walk the hill. The scenery along the road en route is beautiful as you go via...More

Sure, you can go as far inside as you like because it's not a round trip - the entrance is where the exit is. However, you'll have to get to the entrance and the best option (for us, at least) was taking a 4WD with driver... More
