The food is great. Lots of shopping can be done but you need to be good at bargaining to get value for money. Welcoming people. The best way to explore is by walking the street only. I was also able to spot certain cycle rickshaws as well for two or four people that are available on rent. Though the prices... More

There is an interesting temple down this road with many shops and eateries. Nothing special but a nice walk

Walking is the best option for solo travelers like me since renting a 6-person pedicab is not practical. I took the FREE bus and got off here to explore its attractions: shops, restaurants, street vendors selling cheap Indian foods and sweets, beauty parlors, tattoo parlors, etc. Felt like I was in India, not in Penang, Malaysia! I enjoyed the Indian... More

Queen St King St and the surrounding area are the noisy bustling heart of Little India. Fascinating area full of colour and the sounds of Bollywood. Best to visit here when you're hungry.

So much food, Indian snacks, great music floods the air while you enjoy looking/shopping at cloth, clothes artifacts. It's wonderful! Real India in the middle of Georgetown.

Be delighted by this interesting street full of different shops and stalls all waiting to tempt you to buy. Where you will find that special gift for the hard one in the family to buy for. I did and I feel good.

I think of Lebuh Queen as a doorway into a the most vibrant quarter of George Town. The music is loud, the streets a riot of colour, and in the air is all the enchantment of the east. It is like being in Mumbai, or New Delhi, or Jaipur, except on a much smaller scale. You can by good samosa,... More
