As the title indicates, this is one of the central thoroughfares in Georgetown for tourists. Lot of street food options, near Love Lane for the nightlife as well. Plenty of restaurants as well.

You need to navigate Chulia Street to find all the wall ironworks and paintings. There are maps outlining these locations and although the map suggests you need transport, we were able to get to most by walking. Obviously the walk is more enjoyable early or...More

I was stayed at Hong Peng Hotel at Chulia Street with affordable prices and good accommodation. At night, along the street you can see the people selling street food. Good to try local food.

I had watermelon lychee ice cream. Quaint little shop with only about 3 tables on the ground floor (suspect there is more seating upstairs but didnt venture up). Cute little pup "guarding" the path to the stairs. Also makes waffles that smell like heaven.

Choose a not so steamy day to wander around this beautiful old part of town and enjoy the buildings, especially the Fire Station.

Starting point to explore the famous Penang Street Art. In the evenings, this street comes alive with lots of bars and restaurants. One of the best street food center can be found here in the evening.
