Nothing much to explore here, just a unique tall building. locals call this building a 'battery building' cause its shape looks like a 'double/tripe A battery'. It is perfect for people who adore nice background for photography.

used to be the tallest and most iconic building in KK back in the 80s. KK trip will not be complete without this photo in your album

Amazing building...but unfortunately, not maintain. Would've been so nice if the area can be more functional in the evenings...beautiful place to sit and watch the sun set....

Formerly known as Sabah Foundation Building, this tower is still an iconic landmark in Kota Kinabalu. Standing 30 stories tall, a tower of steel and glass, it is one of the few buildings in the world that utilizes a single column structure , with 96 high tensile steel rods supporting its steel radial brackets. This tower houses an auditorium, theaters, an exhibition foyer, a gymnasium, a kindergarten and a research library, Center for Borneo Studies. We felt proud to be photographed with this tower.

A good photographer would choose these 2 timing. The light pollution will not resulting in over-expose. Plus, they have this vast field like location for travellers with picnic basket.

Just did a quick stop-over to take a photo of this iconic building with a simple yet interesting architectural structure. Guess it's a must visit photo stop in KK.
