You'll feel the cool breeze while overlooking most of the city's buildings and establishments. Great way to relax for a few minutes in between tours. Nice view, but the restaurant's service within Signal Hill is slow. We got our order very late that we got a bit behind on schedule.

This is the only place where you can get a birds eye view of Kota Kinabalu City.It is special to visit at night because of the lighting effects, but day visits are ok too if you are not too scared of the hot summer's day temperature, always in the range of 30 to 36 degrees Celsius.lol

There is a hotel blocking the view of the ocean but if you go to the mall you get a interrupted view of the sunset. The mall foodcourt open deck is a view from the side but the sunset is gorgeous with my big hotel blocking the view! If your goal is for a city view and not sunset over... More

I was staying at the Jesselton Hotel on Gaya St and this was a short stroll away. I had just arrived in KK and after exploring the markets I wanted to see some urban nature. nice stairs lead up the hill and if you are into birds you'll see plenty. At the top there is a look-out deck with snacks... More

Pleasant place to watch sunset. No very big area and not much in the way of facilities. Glad we stopped here.

C1 ( 2017.04.21 ) I visited this observatory for watching view of KK and beach, but the facility was smaller than I think. This observatory was located at hillside, so the view was above my expectation. There was good to enjoy killing time at bench with view and atmosphere.

Do not miss this fabulous lookout point. The observation structure looks like it was dropped to earth from another planet. From here you can see the entire city and the stilt village if Pulau Gaya. We walked up here from the Clock Tower then back down. It is quite the trek in the heat.

Go around the city and get myself and companion for a great escape of the headache road. Sit and sip while enjoying the scenes of city with nature. Very calm and relaxing. What a world... I live KK

If you want some exercise then walking up a lot of stairs through trees is pleasant. However don't do it for the view unless you like looking over cities - most of the sea and island views are blocked by ugly high rise buildings.
