The outside is worth to come and visit, it the inside is really sober and not interesting to watch unfortunately.

We only stopped to take pictures of this beautiful mosque. Didn't go inside and weren't sure if we were allowed inside to be honest.

Whoever is visiting Kota Kinabalu they should take uber and go here. From center to there + 15mins walking around + get back to the center for uber was 30rm (around 6€) and taxi one way price is 30-40rm (6-8€). City mosque looks beautiful and...More

Took a taxi from KK to the Mosque for RM10. Easy to access and walk around to take pictures. At the entrance you get the required long clothes for free in order to access the Mosque.

Cannot enter during prayer session. Minimalist inside as per Islamic framework. Much nicer from outside to catch the mosque in different lighting conditions.

There's space allocated for ladies 😊 for the Solah time, it's 12 plus.
