This certainly lived up to my expectations. Travelled to the park independently: Grab from hotel in Kuching (26RM) and local bus return (4RM) 10RM entry. Walked up to the reception centre, where toilets and drinks were available, along with information regarding individual orangs and the...More

At first, it is sad to see great apes in enclosures. When you understand that the center is focused on reeducating animals injured or kept as pets and reintroduce them to the forest, you are moved by the dedication and the patience of the staff...More

After having visited the Iban tribe, I passed by with my private guide to experience these amazing and endangered Great Apes. The species here, were much bigger than the orangutans, I experienced in Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Definitely worth a visit.

We were lucky to see about 8 or 9 orangutans including a one month old baby. Large male came very close. I believe it was non fruit season so we had a better chance. So glad we did it.

We came here 4 years ago and wanted to return. Took a grab to the centre, saw loads of orangutans at the morning feeding. Fantastic place, even for the second time. We actually ended up adopting an orangutan!

Firstly this is not a zoo. The orangutans roam freely and there are specific viewing locations. We got there for the morning feeding time. And were lucky to see 3 orangutans. The rangers gave plenty info and answered questions. Kids loved it.

The reserve is a little out of the city and so we had to pre-arrange our transport (struck a deal with our grab driver!) to ensure we get a trip back. There are buses but we have a young toddler and found it more convenient...More

Arrived at the place sharp at 9am, almost miss out seeing Ritchie cause he left straight away after eating around 9.10. After Ritchie left the feeding area, Ganya came and stay hanging around from tree to tree. For 1 half hour there, we always saw...More

Yes. There is parking in the reserve near the visitor centre and toilets are near the little shop and cafe close to the viewing area.
