Wild monster

So many crocodile species here. Quite a nice place for kids to get so close to this wild giant in water. Just pity those animals kept in cage.

I was shocked when visitors from KL are considered as foreigners with double charges while only Sarawakians get RM10 entrance fees. It is better to go the Semenggoh Wildlife Center.

we looked on tripadvisor before going to Jong's Crocodile Farm and saw mixed reviews; so though we would give it a try especially as our children wanted to see the Crocodiles. But as soon as we walked in we realized it was a mistake. The animals are kept in small cages will little space to move around. Not a pleasant... More

We were here by Dec 2011 after going to Semenggoh Nature Reserve. Nothing special here just see how the staff feed the crocodile. Come once is more than enough.

The crocodile feeding was at 11am, so we decided to make our way over after seeing the orangutans at semenggoh. The feeding was similar to Gatorland in Florida just without all the glitz and glamour. They hang bits of chicken on a line and the crocs jump out to snap up some food. The rest of the zoo is nice.... More

First the positives: - The jumping crocodile feeding display is impressive to watch. Watching a crocodile jump and snap like that helps you understand just how terrifying/impressive they are - All of the people who worked there seemed friendly and caring However, on to the negatives: - The zoo seems tacked-on and ill thought out. - The animals have small... Be sure to go there around 11am or 3pm for the crocodile feeding time to see some awesome crocodile jumping out of the water to catch meat. Like some of the other reviewers here, be careful if you take kids there as there were photos on the wall that were quite gruesome (depicting an 8yo kid eaten by crocodile and... More

We have been to countless crocodile farms throughout the world and all in all this was a good experience. The only negative, although interesting for adults with a strong stomach, is the array of photo's on one of the walls. The pics are of a crocodile which was caught after it had eaten a child. They proceeded to cut the... More

The area is big, with 2 large crocodiles and alot more smaller crocodiles. There are also some other animals, like a mini zoo. Only thing worth to see is the crocodile feeding.
