Bring a torch and hat to cover your hat from bat pooh! Very slippery underfoot in places, so bring good footware.

Definately looks like a fairy cave. Plenty of stairs to walk up to the top but definately well worth it. Kids enjoyed it too

Be prepared to climb a four storey set of steps to enter and watch your footing inside. No flip flops! It is worth the effort to visit these caves

My local host took me to this cave and another. At the time it was very busy with a first ever triathlon being run which was fun to watch. Needs some upkeep as many of the steps/walkways are broken but a nice adventure.

Slippery hike, but nice caves with fairytale lighting. Bring sturdy shoes in the rainy season and read up on the formations!

We took a 45mins drive from Kuching town to the Fairy Caves. Best to wear shoes with grip (Adidas kampung was the best shoes) as the cave is wet from water drippings and slippery. A few people wearing slippers slipped and fell. Bring a torch/headlamp...More

My apologies, I have no recommendations on scooter rental but it's a great idea. You will have flexibility to move around and see other places. It will save you time. Enjoy your trip!

The Fairy Cave is harder to reach, but is more scenic. The wind cave has micro bats is is not a photo friendly area.
