My 15 yr old son and I really enjoyed this. My wife and our 6 month old had mixed experience due to bumpy ride and weather. We did the evening cruise (1700 departure) at tail end of wet season. We had good long sightings of proboscis monkeys, some fleeting glimpses of the dorsal fins of Irrawaddy dolphins, really interesting floating... More

This was my first trip to Kuching and it’s a short business visit. I had only half a day to go around (evening) and I wanted to make sure I chose the right place. After going through various attraction places in Trip Advisor, I finally decided to visit Kuching Wetlands National Park. We drove to Santubong Jetty and met with... More

The evening boat tour is highly recommended. We went with paradesaborneo.com and were not disappointed (191MR per person). Despite that it was a rainy evening, we saw a crocodile, many dolphins, and three proboscis monkeys. The landscape is lovely and makes for a very nice cruise - with the magnificent sunset as a bonus.

Not seeing any crocodile was disappointed (tide was high) but we saw many dolphins that made the visit worthy. Do no expect to take great photos as they came out the water and disappear so fast that you will not have the chance to get a good one. Just enjoy the fact they can show anywhere and you must guess... More

Based on recommendations from other travelers we met in Kuching, we booked this tour through Borneo Experiences. The wetlands are about 30 mins drive from Kuching, we driven by Denise, a lovely lady. She dropped us by a jetty, where her husband, Ajat was waiting. He was the owner/driver/tour guide of a nice big boat. There were only 4 of... More

We booked this trip because we were hoping to see some real wildlife. They advised us to take the evening tour rather then the morning one(which is slightly cheaper) We were picked from the hotel and taken to the boat-jetty where we waited half an hoir for our boat to arrive, which is no problem but it would have been... I really enjoyed trekking through this National Park, only stayed for the day so did a shorter route but very much enjoyed it. I made my own way to the Bako Jetty (you can do so by either Bus or Taxi) from Kuching and found a few other travellers along with a tour guide there who showed us around on... More

I lucked out. Maybe you will too. Call Rasic on +60 148868059. He picked us up from Sawarak Cultural village at 4:45 to take his boat for. 3-hour trip. Our eagle-eyed guide, John was amazing we saw at least 8 Irrawaddy dolphins, 6 crocs, 2 proboscis monkeys, lots of macaques and hundreds of fire flies. We returned at low tide... More

We went on an afternoon tour which took a while to get started because the boat's engine needed fixing. We saw some proboscis monkeys and a bush full of fireflies but no croc or dolphin on that day.

This is really worth doing. We did a sunset cruise andsaw monkeys and fireflies which were beautiful. We also saw the beginnings of an electrical storm which was good too but got back before the rain started. If you're lucky you could also see Irawaddy dolphins and crocs.
