Good to visit during the day or evening. Just walk around, try some local food, take a river boat cruise (I would recommend the small, authentic looking one).

We stayed at the Hilton and whenever the night was clear We would take the opportunity to wander down the esplanade. It has a few little tourist stalls and seriously good street food.
