Don't trust the hiking times suggested by the park - took the 3-4 hour one way hike in 3.5 hours both ways. Primary forest, but all hikes signposted nicely (except for the start). Beware of leeches who live in leaves on the ground though.

There are several trails here and we took the waterfall one. You start off walking up the road which can be quiet steep uphill. The trail itself was quiet difficult for us and so we did not complete. It was amazing to actually feel you were in unspoilt jungle. ans a pristine lowland rain forest,It is good to see that natures... More

That why this is good place for trekking. At the end of long journey there is a great surprise - a waterfall with clean chill water.

I've been here four times and if I ever come back to Kuching, I will do that again. The summit has good view, and the waterfall is so huge and perfect spot for picnic after hiking.

Walking up the hill was hard work but once we got to the top and started our descent through the jungle is became easier (just more concentration then required on footing). When we got to the waterfall we enjoyed taking photos and cooling down under the natural shower! There is a part of the waterfall deep enough for you to... More

We went on the 5 hour trek as advised and had an amazing time, only saw a couple of other people the whole time as it is so huge and not many people go! We showered in the waterfall and swam in the natural pools and no one came the whole time. it was so amazing to experience such natural... More

Once we reached the waterfall, we couldn't wait to jump in! It was empty and it was soooo cold and refreshing. It was great! But the trail is nothing special.

This place is great! Situated about 45 mins. drive from Kuching city centre and just past Matang Wildlife Park. Admission is 20 Ringgits for foreigners - a bargain. There's a number of jungle trails running through different parts of the park. The waterfall trail is about 1.5 Km. and runs to a fairly impressive 30ft. drop waterfall. The ground can... More
