Calm and colorful, rich in details and interest, plenty of little places to stop by and have a fresh juice or mint tea

I wish I had allocated more time here and less time in Marrakech. There are fewer sights to see here, but oh MAN was it a breath of fresh air, literally and figuratively, after Marrakech. The medina is lovely and open and the ocean breeze...More

Nicely decorated little stores inside the medina, which is way quieter and relaxed than the Marrakech one, but in which you get lost anyway.

Wow what a contrast to Marrakech’s Media! Excellent food, higher quality merchandise and lower prices!

Very nice, laid back Medina, well worth visiting. It really pays to take a few hours to visit this Medina, it gives you a sense of the heritage of smaller towns, rather than the hassle of larger cities

After the bustle of Marrakech, the Medina here is smaller and far more laid back. Not so many mopeds. Good place to buy spices and cosmetics.

Differently from the better known cities, in this Medina is possible to shop quietly without been overcharged or without been pushed too much by vendors.

The medina is easy to get around and has a large variety. The vendors are extremely friendly and the bargaining is actually part of the charm.

It's about 2 hours from Marrakesh, costs about 1000 Dhs for private car. Ours was easily arranged by our Dar (small hotel).
