You simply can't just work around without being harassed by very pushy men who try to pull you in their stall. If you stop to have a look at the menu, you are suddenly surrounded by 5 men who don't let you enjoy the experience....More

Choose freshly caught and have it grilled in front of you. Haggle price a bit. Comes with a little salad.

The daily fish market takes place down in the fishing port. If you're not sure how to find it, follow your nose (or locals with dead fish strung over their bicycle handlebars coming back from the market with their dinner for that evening). It's a...More

I went here in August with my boyfriend. I don't even like fish that much. But this was incredible and such a good experience. I would recommend being open-minded, to the smells, to the prodding at dead fish and live lobsters to try and entice...More

Nose plugs and solid shoes recommended. Seriously. Don't go if you have a very sensitive sense of smell and if you do go make sure you wear proper shoes or you will be soaked in stagnant fishy warm water.

The fish market is close to the port but it is quite dirty there, so better move to the square before the Medina, where you can find about 15 small sea food restaurants and have a nice meal. Do bargain for the prices!

The fish market is the centre of town. If you know your fish buy some fresh ones and be on your way. If you want to eat there is a local grill in the corner. If you take your spirit of adventure you will be...More
