Large, expansive beach with beautiful sunsets. Not too crowded, and the people are all very respectful. At night people are walking around and it's a great energy.

I loved the Central African Coastal beach. Big change from Middle Atlas, deserts and now the beach , the coast and the fresh sea air. Great place to spend New Years Hint: sunscreen, sunhat, water, camera, suitable shoes and clothing

I believe it is rated the best beach in Morocco, so you can guess it is pretty good. Good stretch of sand, beautiful sunsets over the harbor and the islands. Nce place to relax

Great tourist beach, well designed and maintained. Plenty of places to eat/drink, friendly locals, plenty of space for everyone! If you have young kids, beware broken glass at the entrances to the beach, but the actual beach seemed clean

I loved Essaouira beach with the marble sidewalk areas and wide area to walk without cars. The sea looked stunning with plenty people going for a swim. A nice breeze to make a long walk more comfortable.

Walk just half an hour and you leave the tourism behind and just walk with the sound of the ocean and the wind in your hair .... Sand dunes to your left and a camel or two ... Beautiful x

Yes, you can. Some people just lay out a towel whilst there are also a few sunbeds - not sure if totally 'public' or connected to bars. A lot of people use the beds at Beach & Friends - buy a drink or two and they're happy... More

Hi, I would recommend Ranch de Diabat. They are based about a mile from the beach and will come and pick you up. I know one of their guides does do trips into the desert, some of them several days long - I can't answer... More
