Very disappointing beach trip. Trash, including diapers littered the beach and we had to dodge shards of glass to get to the beach. Not recommended.

When we have stayed at Wimbe beach, Pemba Dolphin was our choice for the day and evening. The long fine sandy beach is a very pleasant site to stroll around, watch and be watched. Water is clean, calm and crowded only during the weekends.

Wimbe Beach is one of Pemba's highlights. It's a beautiful stretch of beach with a number of good eating options as well. Most of the city's hotels are also located in its vicinity.

Awesome beach, nice and very cheap fish, prawns and beer. People around the beach are very friendly.

A nice a safe beach for the family. Plenty of restaurants and lodges along. But the litter and rubish ruins it completely!!! Gets very croweded so try to avoid weekends and peak of summer.

This beach is a must-du while visiting Pemba. It's the main beach, but still almost completely empty... Enjoy a cold beer in one of the beach bars for sunset.

Not so good for swimming, but excellent for a long walk and very photogenic. Good beach for runners.

Stunning beach, but with all the vendors walking around and being around you the whole time, it does make you feel a bit nervous walking around.
