Great place to spend a couple hours at. Its a quaint place with bits and pieces of Namibian history, put together quite haphazardly. Some artifacts were well curated and others less so. Place could do with a little makeover and clearer layouts to maximize the...More

We spent hours looking around this eclectic collection of stuff - like poking thru your grandmothers attic, but with explanations. Manages to walk the tightrope between the masses of info from white settlers and the small amount from the native tribes.

We only popped into this museum as we had an hour to spare, but wished we'd been able to stay longer. The museum offers a fascinating insight into the local human and natural history of the area, all very nicely presented. There was an interesting...More

Really well varied selection of items on display here from animals to a whole chemist shop to transport to clothing and so on. Spent quite a while wandering around in here. Something for everyone.

This museum is well worth a visit and be prepared to spend a few hours (3) taking in all the exhibits. The mobile dentist of yesteryear is a great example of how technology has moved on and the history of the early settlers and their...More

Really enjoyed the museum, there is so much all fit in to a relatively small space. Very interesting combination of history, ethno-cultural studies, biology, and geology. Well worth a visit. The teens both found displays that really caught their attention.

It is not expensive. The exhibition was put together with lots of love for Namibia and Namibians. It i located at the Mole, a little beach with a nice little promenade, I liked it.
