Ventured in to escape East wind but also to have a look at what was in museum. Lots of information about many different aspects of the community and country and it cost $30 Namibian. They also have toilets and a gift shop type area. I bought a book about the animals

This museum offers many details regarding the history of the area. There are archeological aspects of the area as well as the details of settlers. I enjoyed my time and would highly recommend visiting this museum if you are in the area.

This small but very interesting museum is a great place to spend a couple of hours and covers history, geology, animals and more of Namibia. Would be an excellent place to go if the weather was bad, but fascinating even if it wasn't!

It is kind of a hodge lodge of lots of random stuff but the descriptions are good and there is a lot to look at. There is a whole room about the Namibian people and their cultures, which was very interesting and informative. Would recommend if you just have like an hour or so to kill.

This museum is a tardis - has much more in there that you imagine when you first enter. Not a modern interactive type of museum so perhaps not so great for kids although they would love the stuffed animals! loads of information about Namibian peoples, wildlife, geology etc. Some rather odd exhibits but that all added to the charm. Considering that we certainly travel to learn about different cultures around the world; I think that it is totally worthy to visit this museum to know more about Namibia history. Well preserved; recommended to visit.

This is a private museum with excellent and very informative displays. It is surprisingly big on the inside covering a variety of subjects. This is for the curious and the mindful.

We were recommended to visit this museum and were not disappointed. It is a charming plae with some good displays which are well described. We particularly enjoyed the botanical and geological sections and seeing the ox cart! As OAP's the entrance was 25 Namibian dollars each - very good value. There is a good little book and gift shop attached... More
