It was an awesome experience on this beach, I reached with my son and wife around 10:00 AM. The beach was empty and it was only us. The beach is really beautiful with lots of crabs running around. Must visit place.

It’s not often you have a world class beach that spans from one mountain to another with 6km of powdery sand to yourself. We went on a weekday morning and there was no one around. You can drive your car right up to the edge...More

Best sunset view of Salalah. The blowholes is a must try to check out. They have managed to keep the natural beauty as it is.

Al Mughsail beach is a calm and white sandy long stretch blue water landscape. This beach is one of the famous tourist attractions in Salalah. Mountains on both sides and the deep blue color of the sea makes view more elegant and panoramic.

A substantial and fairly quite beach out of Salalah, when we were there the fisherman were finishing up (there are a number of fisherman's houses) just behind the main road. The beach is littered with loads of piles and sand next to holes dug by...More

30 minutes drive west of Salalah, the beautiful beach of Al Mughsail. Extensive sands, captivating cliffs on both sides, and if your timing is right, an opportunity to see the local fishermen land their catch or maintain their nets. Well worth a stop on the...More

There are much more interesting things to see east of salalah. The beach itself is a bit scruffy and unless Oman gets to grips with the huge amount of plastic left everywhere it will become increasingly unpleasant.

There are currently (Dec 2018) no hotels at or around this beach, it’s quite remote. But, as mentioned, there are resorts on the beach in Salalah. Worth a day trip here, even if you can’t sleep over!
