After a nice littel treck (remember good walking shoes and Water) we came to this beautiful pond, betweend the Cliffs. If you go there by your own, please remember that the first wadi is not for swimming. We swam thru the ponds until we reached the cave. the Water was so clear and beautiful. but Watch out for the slippery... More

We arrived at the parking lot and were able to change into swim suits in the public restroom. We took a boat over to the other side of the water way to begin our walk (probably paying too much at 1 omr per person round trip). The walk up to the pools included climbing over large rocks. We only managed... More

This is a wonderful place to visit, although it's not easy to reach, the end of it is just fantastic and wort the effort.

It is absolutely stunning . Some things your have to consider : 1. It's an hour walk to the pools and there is not much shade . Choose your time of the day wisely . 2. Have non-slippery water shoes , you won't regret it. I saw a few people taking nasty slips on those rocks . 3. If you... More

Were there in June. Despite super hot and dry conditions, if you have enough drinking water, you will be rewarded with oasis of the pleasures. Spent almost an hour on the way to the waters in a canion. But it was worth what we saw at the end. Beautiful stream of water with small waterfall at the end. You'd have... More

We went with a guide on a very busy day in the Eid holiday, when the Wadi was packed with day trippers but could imagine how nice it would be on a midweek day when it would be quieter. There is a short boat trip across the water then a walk of 60-90 minutes along a fairly narrow path above... More

If you're looking for a sportive activity, please go and hike Wadi Al Shab. Don't be put of by the highway at the beginning of the Wadi and the small boat to the start of the walk. Then continue over small pebbles, sand and eventually rocks, passing stunning pools and waterfalls. At the end of the gorge swim up the... More

We went to Wadi Shab as part of our tour with Sunshine Tours Oman. Having a guide with us was essential although you can definitely do this on your own. We went on Saturday, which is always busy (try to avoid Fridays). However, we got there before the groups and that made all the difference. We had the pools all... More
