Yes you can hike to Volcan Baru without a guide and it's very easy to find the path, BUT: I would really recommend anyone new with hiking to consider about this path from Boquete. It's going to be 28 kilometers up and down with ruff...More

Volcan and Cerro Punta were our favorites. The volcano is huge and a hikers dream. Visit the towns worth the drive around!

We started our hike at 1:20am, just two the two of us. You don't realize how steep this is while you hike at night but what an accomplishment when you're done! We took 4.5 hours to hike, we're both in really good shape, but I...More

Not aware of a shuttle but there is a road that is bit of a challenge and not very well marked. Our friends hiked to Boquete from Volcan with a guide and loved it. Not ME!
