Our tour group visited the park with a volunteer ranger that lives just outside the park. Park is reached via a one lane dirt road. There is really no path except the one that takes you to the tower that you can no longer climb...More

Our tour group did a hike here; and even though it is quite barren, it is also interesting. Luckily we had a local guide who showed us the plants and various animal tracks.

It is not a desert more like a dried up ocean bed has trees on the sides and cactus. Just one small lane in center to drive to end. Go to Montuoso forest reserve worth the visit but need 2 WD dirt roads.
