According to my tourist map of Puno, this is the Santuario Virgen de la Candelabra. It's a pretty little church opposite Parque Pino. As you can see, it's lit up at night quite nicely.

This church on Parque Pino is of no particualr interest, were it not that it houses "La Mamacha", the "Virgen de la Candelaria", a statue of May, who is the patroness of Puno and whose festivities in February are the main celebration of the year...More

Not much to see here. It’s free, so it worth wandering through. If you have five minutes to burn and you’re walking nearby, check it out.

This church is fine, given that there's basically nothing to do in the town of Puno. Despite the false sign near the church, it is NOT a UNESCO site, and there are NO UNESCO sites in Puno. I'm dinging the church for it's false advertising.

It's a well-kept religious building with several altars inside. THe architecture is good, but still standard.

This church is located in an interesting park full of activity. A great place to engage in shopping and have a snack. There is something of interest to everyone here.

A pretty church located in the small square. Not much to it, but a nice site to walk by or enjoy lunch nearby.
