The museum highlights the Lady of Cao, but every exhibit is a fascinating glimpse of the wealth of prehistoric coastal Peru. You will be awe-struck by the beauty of the displayed objects.

At last they found a female ruler!!! There is a very well preserved mummy in the museum. You can even see tatoos on her skin! The exhibition is also very modern and is in 2 languages: Spanish and English. Outside area is pretty big and...More

This is a work in progress as the excavation is quite new. This is a smaller version of some to the major excavations that are going on in northern Peru. Worth a look.

Huaca del Brujo and Museo de Cao are very interesting places to visit. The ancient old paintings and artifacts have been very well preserved and you can even see the mummy of the first female Peruvian ruler
