I drove by the sign for this winery on RT 5 and 20 for years. I was on my way to work or on a mission. They have a sandwich board at the end of Fosterville Rd. I bought some to cellar, it was good then. The owner Chris said they would be even better after a couple years

We went there for their cheese, chocolate, and Chambourcin pairing and we were so happy that we found this winery. The wine was all really good; my friend and I ended up buying six bottles. The owner and his daughter gave us great service. They were very knowledgeable and friendly.

We stopped in on our way home and the proprietor/winemaker walked out to greet us. After an enjoyable sampling of the available wines, he gave us a quick tour of the facility. It was clean and well organized. I would recommend winery for Riesling lovers.

We have visited CJS Vineyards on numerous occasions, and it's always wonderful. Chris takes the time to discuss and explain all of his wines, which are marvelous, and the prices are very good. Looking forward to a return trip.

CJS is a small winery on the edge of Auburn, NY, in the Finger Lakes area. It's up a narrow winding driveway and there is very little parking, so it's best to visit out of peak tourism times. Chris, the owner and winemaker, served us and was happy to talk about his work. There is a small steep field of... More

This winery is truly a hidden gem in the Finger Lakes! We met with Chris the owner, winemaker, marketer etc. You felt like a guest rather than a customer. He took the time to discuss his wines, what foods to pair each wine, the wine making process etc. It was a throw back to times before many wineries become so... More

Our friends mentioned CJS and how good the wine was, so we set out looking for it. Jann and Chris we're warm and friendly, the wine was tasty, we got to watch part of the wine making process, and take a walk in the vineyard. We'll be back.

Chris was great. He was a wealth or information about his wines as well as others in the area. This was not there normal day to be open but we caught him just as he was going to do some cleaning. It was nice of him to open up for us. :)

Wow! We started here on our wine tour (we came from the Martville area). Chris was personable and knowledgable. It was a great bargain at $3 a tasting, although that fee was waived for most of us because we made wine purchases! Personally I liked the Fosterville and Villagio whites. Delicious! Friendly place. Give it a try!

On your way to the Cayuga and Seneca Wine Trails, you will pass a small sign outside of Auburn with balloons stating CJS Vineyards and probably drive on by. Next time, take the turn and stop. The C is for Chris and the J for his wife Jan. The place is adjacent to their house and you park in their... More
