You can eat here local food and also other Asian food else well. The market gives a great variety of food and products, in the middle of the market there are chairs and tables where you can eat and you can also take it away. Next to the market there is a park where you also can relaxed and eat.... More

Always a joy to be with my daughter at the Salcedo Market. We come here once a month. It's an area I let her be with myriad of people from expats to locals, and food. We love having breakfast here and have sampled what d area offers from Peruvian to Italian dishes to inihaw Filipino cooking. We sit in one... More

I'm so glad I added this mini market adventure to the 'Things To Do' bucket list during our holiday in Manila. Got to taste a number of authentic street food and found the prices quite reasonable.

This is nice small street fair that appears to happen ever Saturday at what appears to be a park parking lot on normal days. If you've been to any street fair in NYC or elsewhere, that's basically what it is. Obviously, mostly Filipino flair is peddled here. Price wise, it seems a tad bit more expensive then what can be... Salcedo Saturday Market is a good place to go to when you're in Makati on weekends. The park is converted into a market and they are open as early as 630AM. Lots of stalls and food choices and different cuisines from Filipino, French, Spanish, Turkish, Malaysian, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc. I used to queue up for the barbecue but since... My daughter loved the food available at this market and I really enjoyed the stroll. It wasn't massive, however it was enough where I thought it was an enjoyable space with some great food options. Some of the vendors did not have clear signage with prices which was a little annoying, and it felt a little like the price was... More

This market has deteriorated to be a hive for opportunists and plain rip off marketers. There's this French guy selling his cooked food for 350. pesos per meager portion - where did he think he was? - in an air conditioned full service restaurant in Greembelt? The fruits and so-called organic veggies and eggs are sold for twice the market... More

Today I woke up full of vim and vigour so I decided to swing by Salcedo Saturday Market which is just a few blocks away from our apartment. Salcedo Saturday Market is vibrant and quite appealing to walk through the many stalls selling a variety of cooked food. Mostly Filipino dishes but you can also find other foreign food like... More

The market is spitting distance from the Picasso hotel, so I had no excuse for not dropping into the market when I was in Salcedo Village on a recent Saturday. There was a wide range of local foods/ingredients on display and the air smelled great with all the grills cooking delicious food. I made the mistake of eating breakfast before... More
