a private property that have been opened for the public to appreciate history of Davao City during the Japanese occupation and WWII. I actually didn't know it existed, I am lucking to have visited this tunnel, I thought this is the only one of its kind in Mindanao Island. I wish they will preserve this historical site for the future... More

After the war, several people were into treasure hunting. The Japanese tunnel above was discovered not too long ago. One may wonder, what were those Japanese doing at the time?

Facts offered by the staff/tour guide is quite interesting but given that the tunnel is only a few meters long, you can definitely take a pass on this attraction.

Nice to know that this SHORT tunnel is part of kilometer long labyrinths the Japanese Imperial Army had dug using slavery at the time. Nice to see WWII artifacts, but very limited.

This is for quick fun when in Davao. There's nothing much to it but it is part of history. Just take all the selfies you want. We had fun fooling around with the statues.

There's nothing to look forward on this place but a 15-minute walk inside a dark, muddy, wet, earthy-smelling cave which historical information discussed by guide can be googled and replicas inside the cave are unappealing.

To be honest it was somewhat disappointing. The history of the place is undeniable and the authorities have tried to keep that history alive but could do so much more. The major parts of the tunnels collapsed long time ago leaving just a short section open to the public.
