- Navina the flying swallow13 contributionsCool break from the sun and for a family with kidsA time pass activity if you have kids and/or want to escape the scorching summer sun. The things we enjoyed were the fish feeding session , lorikeets and the best was the fish spa. The fishes in the fish spa really did a professional job ;) . Really amazed at the result and I guess for 100 pesos and no time limit this is really value for money. The lorikeets gobbled up 200 pesos in 2 seconds. They would sit on your head first awaiting you to feed them and once you have the food in your hand its gone as if into thin air. But for one time it Is a good experience to let the little sweeties sit on you.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten May 18, 2024

Cebu Ocean Park is mostly a disappointment. It's name is misleading because it's less of a park and more of an aquarium. Almost the entire complex is housed inside a building containing mostly of tanks of various fish and reptiles and a small outdoor aviary.
This ocean park doesn't come close to ocean parks in nearby cities like Hong Kong or Singapore. You can walk through Cebu Ocean Park in two hours. There's only one show, the bird show, which was short and featured only 3 or 4 birds. The fish spa where fishes nibble at your feet to make it smoother was the only part I really enjoyed but costs an extra P100.
Hopefully, Cebu Ocean Park which opened only six months ago is a work in progress and will improve with time. But as it stands, it's hard to justify the P800 entrance fee.
As an aside, it costs only P600 for locals. I paid the tourist fee while my companion paid the lower amount for being a local. Yet, they never checked her ID. So it's unclear how you prove you're a local and their website doesn't give details.
And who exactly is a "local" as defined by Cebu Ocean Park? Is it residents of metro Cebu City? or Cebu province? or all Filipino nationals? Without giving details or checking IDs, it seems they're basing entrance fee on a guest's appearance -- and that can be quite dangerous for their reputation.

Hi R0dent,
thank you for taking the time to write a review and help us to get better.
We advertise our Park as the largest Oceanarium in the Philippines and it's called a Park because we cover land, air and sea creatures. The bird show is now 30 minutes and displays a wide variety of creatures including a serpent eagle and other birds of prey. This said we take your words as a constructive critic and will work to make this place better and better.

Cebu Ocean Park does not live up to its hype. The place is too small and one-way passageways are too cramped. I visited during a weekday and it was filled with school children on field trips. The narrow passageways, especially the one leading to the 360 Acrylic, when filled with people, is a disaster waiting to happen. A stampede is a possibility in cases of emergencies or natural disasters. Moreover, the venue for the bird show has narrow corridors for ingress and egress.
On the positive side, the info boards were numerous and very educational although I noticed the schoolchildren were not really paying attention to them.

Hi EttaRose,
thank you for your review. Cebu Ocean Park is mostly an educational facility and the capacity of the place is certified at 7000 people. We never reach that level and we will still keep the number of visitors at a really lower number.
All the passageways are certified and checked by the authorities and we have various emergency plans for any occurrence. This said we are sorry we didn't meet your expectations and we are working hard to get always better.

My wife bought the tickets for us. If it was possible to get a refund I would have done that. I don’t support racism!!! The entrance fee varies based on your skin colour!!! My wife bought the tickets for us. But when I saw this we threw the tickets away! Shame on them!!!

Hi FilipinoTrev,
I understand we didn't meet your expectations and I understand that our price policy may be misunderstood but we just avail a discount from 800 to 600 pesos for the local residents.
I hope to see you here again, we strive to become better and better.

Last May 6,2021 my company brought our staff to visit and I didn't expect much but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. I thought it would get boring looking at a giant aquarium of fish but they had more to offer.
Our group was guided by Christian, he gave us a tour of the park and he answered all our questions. He showed us the different sea creatures, reptiles and birds in the park. We watched the mermaid show & the bird show but the fish feeding in the aquarium was my personal favorite. I liked seeing the fish gather around the divers (it's a great photo opp)
Wish they would add more colorful fish and other attraction to keep things interesting!
Overall gave great service from Christian and other staff. I would recommend you to check it out, it was a nice change of scene.

The Cebu Ocean Park was an amazing and wonderful place to visit . First time going there and it was a totally fantastic experience where you can see different kind of land and air creatures that are both familiar and unfamiliar to you . In fact in my experience it literally blows me off , the moment i entered the place the only words that i kept on saying was " so beautiful " , "wow". We had such a great experience here , had a great time .We also had a chance to meet sir Alex , a very kind and generous person that he even treated us to dinner . So I recommend visiting this place and bring your love ones and have a quality time together ❤️ .

The Cebu Ocean Park is very recommendable and accomodating place for all tourists, also a nice place to be with your love ones, while strolling around the beautiful places, with different animals to encounter. My first time going there was way back November 2022, when our team, Verallo Dance Company was invited to join their Annual Dance Contest at the Cebu Ocean Park. Also, we get to meet the owner of the place, Sir Alex, who was very kind, very approachable and very caring person. I totally recommend this place. What are you waiting for, Come and visit Cebu Ocean Park so you can also experience a one of a kind place to stroll and to have a quality time with you family.

Hi! this is VDC_ Laurence, The ( Ocean Park Cebu City ) is very recommendable and acommodating for young and adult people. The entrance fee also is very affordable. Where you can see different land and air creature's that can give you excitement , enjoyment, self -relief, and entertainment with your family and friends. You can tour the whole places where you can take selfies, grouphies and video here ( TikTok). They have also meals and drinks here to offer. And also the owner of this establishment is very fast approachable, he is very kind and caring person ( Sir. Alex ). That's why, this place indeed is good for you 😉. What are you waiting for ? Come over here, and experience what I've been experienced. #VeralloDanceCompany #OceanParkCebuCity #FunInHere
In addition to this, way back November 2022 the VDC performed a dance routine at Ocean Park Cebu City actually it is a dance battle between dancers in both different places. So based on my experiences here, this place feels like "EDEN" the "LOST PARADISE" why, Everything here looks perfect at all.
