It may sound corny but I was ecstatic to visit this historical place. Visited it in the morning so it was a bit hot. Good thing it was not crowded since it was a weekday.

The design of this monument is very well done. The pool seems to meet the sea and the statues appear to be actually wading out of the water. The surrounding park is beautiful and well maintained.

Did anyone take a tour that had this memorial as one of the stops? I'm planning a trip to Leyte and wanted to get a WWII history/sites tour if possible instead of trying to independently/individually visit the sites.
