Be drawn back in time as you walked in its premises for a brief guided tour for about 150 Php ($ 3) that comes with free native chocolate and 1 refill with bread. Come during weekdays to marvel in its rich history, the old house of the elite during the Spanish colonial times. For weekends, best to call them for... More

Balay nga Bato was in our list of Things to see in Iloilo city and we were glad that we had the full experience. We took the museum tour in the morning and for P150 per person we felt like we took a time machine travel to the glorious past of this lovely ancestral home. One could almost hear the... More

We really enjoyed our visit in Camina Balay na Bato (Camina Bahay na Bato). We paid an amount of 150.00 per person for the entrance fee which comes with a free tsokolate (chocolate) experience. The tsokolate experience comes with a set of cookies and unlimited native chocolate. You could also buy their native Chocolate tablea for around 90.00 per single... More

Was happy for an excuse to see this place for the first time last year as I had to accompany a friend's daughter who was visiting Iloilo for the first time. It is just a few minutes away from the Iloilo Heritage Mansion & a few steps away from tourist stop - the Sinamay house. The entrance fee was P150... More

Excellent customer service. Staff are very accommodating. Food served for dinner was superb. Must try Hot chocolate. A illustrado inspired house, good for artist and antique lover at heart..

My friends in Iloilo brought me here for a quick tour to appreciate culture and history, and get to experience what it's like to be in an ilustrado's house. A good place to visit in Molo area. Do not leave this place without having a cup of their famous chocolate drink and a bowl of warm pancit molo!

Entrance fee is PHP 150. They show a video before you roam the house. If the owner is there she'll show you the house herself. At the end of the tour, enjoy a hearty cup of chocolate which they made and biscuits. And you can ask for a refill! Totally worth it!

Make sure to visit this heritage home of the Avancena-Camino if only to see the 24 solid wood trunks from 1860s that prop up the house. Beautiful antique doors and windows and floorboards will amaze you. Plus they serve a very delicious cup of thick rich Tsokolate Eh, made from their guava wood batirol which is said to add the...
