Nelly Garden in E. Lopez , Jaro will remind you of the glorious past of Iloilo City. The structure and architectural design is so rich. Inside the mansion is hard wooden floor and the furnitures are those of the bygone eras. Even the dining room is one of a kind. You have to book in advance,in order to have access of... More

If you appreciate good architecture and history, you have to see this place. The original structure, flooring, wall murals, furniture, etc. are still in place and I must say, the inside of the mansion is really really wonderful. Going inside, you will get a glimpse of how the old rich have lived during their time, with actual photos taken inside... More

We were lucky to have our group of 8 allowed to go inside the mansion for a guided tour. (Advance arrangements required). The sprawling lawn is beautiful, you can even see some sheep roaming. The mansion (said to be an example of Beaux-Art) from the outside is quite imposing, and very beautiful. No photo-taking was allowed inside, but it was... More

A mansion in the heart of the city reminds you of Iloilo's guilded haciendero age. Sheeps roaming the sprawling lawn and a horse carriage to boot. It seems that you're not in Iloilo but rather in Europe.

We are a group of five persons and we were really glad that we were able to reserve in time. The entrance fee is PHP1000.00 for 5 persons. You have to reserve 4 days before and deposit the fee to their BPI bank account. Picture taking is not allowed inside the mansion. The tour guide was very accomodating. She gave... More

You can't even enter the place. So, I wonder why it was even included here in trip advisor. our tour guide just asked the van to park outside and some of my companions took turns taking photos outside the fence.

So if you are travelling alone or in a small group, you will only be able to see this house from the main road, between the towns of La Paz and Jaro. If desperate, you could try to self-invite yourself to the numerous wedding receptions that are held there. You will have to dress the part though.
