History museum focusing on the history of pharmacy in Transylvania, in the original location of the most famous pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca. The rooms preserve their original functions: the Officina - where medicine was actually sold, the storage rooms, and the laboratory, reconstructed in the basement. There is also a more recent collection of hospital equipment.

My friends and I forgot our student IDs at home, but they still let us enter on student price. Entrance is very cheap anyways! Nice display of objects, and outlined history paper to go along with it, Thanks :)

This place is situated in the centre of the city, next to melody hotel. It contains a big and impressive collection of the pharmaceutical history. The place is situated in a old house of Cluj that remains almost untouchable.

This is my favorite museum of all time, is small, but very precious. I like the smell of history in there and all the details wrote near the objects in there. My favorite place was the laboratory....everything seems like an old movie scene.

Due to heavy rain, I was only able to get here about 25 minutes before closing on my last day in Cluj. I figured it would be plenty of time for such a small place, but it's full of little curiosities and it's a fascinating...More

This nondescript little museum is located in what was a pharmacy in the 16 th century. It's run by an old couple who hover around you suspiciously but if you can get over that, the musuem is worth the visit. It's full of old pharmacy...More

The museum is situated right in the center, very easy to find. It's quite small (only 5 small interconected rooms), but it's a little trip back in time. The ceiling of the main room is preserved in it's original state and is really a beauty....More

The old house looks amazing!❤️ I've been there in a rainy day, when there was nothing left to do in Cluj and I regret I haven't been sooner than that. The wood floor and furniture sends you instantly into the past, the museum is in...More

If you want to see something different, visit this place. Just make sure you arrive in good time, as the place closes early (4 P.M.), and the last tour starts 30 minutes before closing time. Also open on Mondays, when other museums are closed.

This is a small museum located in the centre of Cluj, which apparently is under the threat of closure. That would be a great shame, as while it is a limited collection, it is an interesting museum in an historically important building. There is sufficient...More

It was a pleasant experience back in time. There used to be a pharmacy: back rooms with the medicine jars and scales, labs in the basement to keep fumes out, creatively designed steep stairs... One of the rooms has a traditional fire place and built-in...More
