Nice views of the local buildings and nice open square. This city is made for pedestrians really with alot of areas not allowed for vehicles.

If not for two more beautiful squares of Timisoara, Unity and Victory squares, this one would be the best. However, it has to settle for the third place, mainly because it lacks any green area, or some other tourist place or activity.

It's just a regular place. Nothing to see honestly. A few very small shops, a good exchange office (rates were good when i visited, won't guarantee anything though) and some old buildings some losing nice chunks of plaster.

I liked this square before the renovation, as it had more trees and looked less empty. But it's still very beautiful now, with most of the buildings here renovated, the monument in the middle and the sculptures (mainly chairs which you can actually use) everywhere.

The umbrellas look even brighter in real life. Definitly worth a look and near to all the cafes and bars.

Yesterday I was walking this area and there were some people/artists singing there and some young adults playing an interesting drama. There are always people there enjoying a nice evening walk and the city atmosphere. I recommend visiting this place.

Worth a walk through. First time visit but it is looking quite decent. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. I had seen the umbrellas in a national geographic magazine or something when I was a child and was really stoked to see it...More

They did a good job, using the umbrellas to make the street look more cosy. Lots of tourist making photograps here
