Libertății Square is one of the 3 main squares in Timişoara. It is a tiny square that makes the connection between Victory Square and Union Square. So if you want to go from one square to another, you will have to take a walk through the tiny one and through the famous Alba Iulia street (in summer time, there are... More

The current autocratic mayor Nicolae Robu and his team completely denaturated this place in 2015. It used to be very lively and popular, full of trees, greenery, newspaper kiosks and fountains. I enjoyed the walk through Libertatii Square, as it is less sunny, which is good in summer. It is situated between Victory and Unirii Square and you can find also terraces here.

In the middle of the city and the ideal place to cross on your way to on of the others. Not very much to do here except one little gem in town! Go to the east side of the square and pay the lovely ice cream store a visit. No need to ask the lady for a little scoop of... More

A very pleasant street covered in umbrellas, the street also has the Tourist Information which is probably the most helpful tourist information in the world!
