I was very sceptical about it at first, add I'm not a big fan of trains - or any odd museums, per se - but I found that a surprising amount of love was put into it by the dedicated keepers.

Paid 70 rubles (student price) to see a lot of trains including some where you could go inside. Only criticism is the 200 rubles for photos, but that seems common in Russia.

So we found this train museum but arrived 30 minutes before they closed the indoor layout. The outdoor portionwas already folded for the day. So we will have to go visit the open air part another day. The HO scale layout was really neat.
