Welcome to Museum of Soviet Arcade

Machines – place full of nostalgia and fun!

Our museum is unique all over the world,

it was founded by three young enthusiasts.

They collected arcade machines from

different countries of the former Soviet

Union, removed them with love and care so

you can watch - and play. Our collection

continues to grow constantly.

Not like any museum I've visited before - your entry ticket gets you a pile of old coins to operate the machines and then you're free to play whichever arcade games you want ! The games have one and two player options and there are instructions in English - the staff are really helpful and speak English too ! Definitely... More

Took family with two teens here in July 2016. The kids loved it! We spent a good two hours playing the games. For a fee you get a packet of 15 kopek coins/tokens that work in the machines. Very cool to see the old Soviet/Russian arcade games from 70s and 80s and to play them. Sniper, Sea Battle, Basketball, Hockey,... More

What a great surprise in this 2-story arcade on a cold afternoon. First, you shouldn't expect a museum but more of a nostalgic arcade with something for everybody. While the games varied in quality, video versus mechanical, my kids loved it. They were a bit frustrated at first because it wasn't what they were use to in accuracy in gaming... More

As a tourist, you will learn Moscow is overloaded with history. Pretty soon you can get tired of museums and churches, in this case go here, the name explains it all - you can see and play dozens of soviet arcade machines. You can do it alone, but coming with someone else is double the fun! There is also a... More

Great experience to see and play arcade machines a lot of which are mechanical rather than computer based. You even get genuine kopeks to use as the coins for the slots. Table football was still the favourite, and enclosed timed version with electronic scoring. Good for 1hr

I'm no expert where gaming is concerned but you don't have to be to really enjoy this place. There's a good variation of machines and the English language brochure you are given helps explain the games. I would also like to thank the really kind lady who was working there that day. She kindly volunteered to take time out of... More

This is more fun than you might imagine. It may seem funny to call an arcade a museum but history comes in many forms, no one more valid than another. It was interesting to see the Soviet answer to the arcades popular in the West during this era. Several are direct knockoffs and if you are familiar with video games... More
