Had no idea what to expect and was amazed. Buildings and churches are beautiful and artwork, displays and jewelry were amazing. It was a nice day so we got great photos. Lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes. Allow at least two hours.

The Kremlin is nothing like you'd expect from the outside. The outside suggests that the inside is crowded. It's not with a large open parkland and parking areas. The main attraction are the churches clustering around Cathedral Square. Actually the Square is huge. We paid...More

Please don't visit the Kremlin without a guide. There is so much to know about all the beautiful historical Palaces, Churches, Cathedral and objects, that it would be a pity not to be informed about them. Plan at least a half day to spent there.

The most enjoyable thing for me was that when you are in the complex, you are in 500 meters distance to Mr.Putin! Other churches and visiting sites are not the thing that I expected. Churches are fantastic for their own but you visit a lot of...More

modern Russia began, go to the Kremlin and State
Historical Museum on Red Square. After satisfying your
historical curiosities, indulge in modern pleasures at
GUM Department Store - not just for the sake of
shopping but for the sake of architectural pleasure as
well.

We had a guide (with a pre-paid tour voucher) and the queues were incredibly long even though it was cold and snowing in May 2017. Thankfully our guide was experienced and able to push our small group of 5 people through the... More
