I wasn't really interested in seeing this but my husband dragged me along. I'm glad he did! The room with the antique carriages was fascinating and wonderful. There are several rooms, each with a theme (gowns, armour, weapons, china & serving dishes, regalia, jewellery, carriages, etc.). We didn't purchase the audio guide but just read the signs next to each... More

This is within the Kremlin complex so can combine the 2. It's not an armoury - it's a museum. The highlights are ; the Carriages of Elizabeth the 1st, the costumes of the Tsars, and the Faberge Eggs.

We booked tickets on line for the 10am entry, audio equipment is supplied. Very quiet at first then it got very busy with several large groups. Everything was well laid out and the must see are the 10 Faberge Eggs.

We went there as it was the only one museum with on line tickets. So in case we couldn't manage it to get into other museums we bought the tickets. But, if you go early to the waiting line for the tickets you will get it ) fro all the museum in Kreml. The museum is big. It is very... More

For notice this place does not allow to take any pictures inside. It is better to go with guide or at least take audio guide, since all exhibits got just number and name and no history or material that items are made of. Museum is quite big and it's sure worth to visit. It's very interesting and collections are rich... More

The Kremlin Armoury is a 'must do'. Although it isn't cheap, the items on display are incredible. The items include jewelry, arms, clothing and even carriages. It's well worth the experience.

No pictures :(. But what a visit and something I will remember for the rest of my life. The visits are timed so buybyiur ticket from the ticket office in the nearby park and gently walk over to the entrance. I recommend you get the tickets for the whole Kremlin and Armoury, if you have time. If youbare short in... More

Being the middle of winter we were able to enter as soon as we purchased our tickets thus not having to adhere to the set timings. We also found no queue at the security check point. Although there is a hall displaying a selection of armaments and armour, this museum displays a comprehensive collection of items and artifacts from every... More

This is an amazing museum containing many of the jewels, art, costumes, swords, silver, gold, faberge eggs and more of Russia's intriguing history. I came with a private tour guide and I highly recommend that but they do have audio guides if you want to go on your own. The jewels are spectacular and the carriages are overwhelming. I recommend...
